One of New Zealand’s premier hardcore acts, Antagonist don’t mix words. Their fierce, brutal music and energetic live performances have been wowing audiences from New Zealand and Australia.

They started off 2008 rather well with a swish performance at Big Day Out and then went on to co-headline Killerfest and have also undergone an NZ tour with America’s Bleeding Through. Labelled as one of New Zealand’s most hard working underground acts, Antagonist aren’t showing any signs of slowing down; they will be heading over to Australia to accompany Aussie’s finest, Parkway Drive.

With a respectable EP release already out (These Cities, Our Graves) September will see the release of their first album, titled ‘We Are The Dead’. Plans to tour Japan and the USA are in the works so it’s recommended you catch them live now, while it’s still cheap!
