The 4-piece group, based in Matamata, have since dissolved and are releasing this 9 track album post-humously. It’s a collection of blues and psychadelic rock-based grooves which soar and swim through the murky depths of guitar-effected weedles, thumping bass and rollicking drum beats. It swings from banging rock to idle melodies; the dynamics lend it an interesting dimension much experienced in psychadelic rock young and old.

The addition of Maori instruments and a track titled ‘Kei Raro I Te Kaimai’ give it unique New Zealand twist, which is always kind of neat.

It’s a solid collection of music presented very nicely, however at times the lead vocals seem a bit too effected and don’t quite suit the music right. Ultimately, you can tell these guys just want to rock out with their cocks out. And rock out they do.
