Thanks to everyone who made it out to the Band Experiments over the past few weeks, you’ve collectively helped bring a new crop of exciting acts into the local conscience, of which I’m certain you will see appear in upcoming issues and playing around town.

While giving one or two bands the opportunity to win applaud and set themselves up with resources to reach the next level, it has been a wonderful pleasure to be able to provide. The central reason for the event has been to bring a wide range of new and established acts from across the board in front of audiences they might not have otherwise seen. We hope you’ve managed to come across at lease one new favourite or even a new band to keep a watchful eye on for the future.

Special mention also should be given to Flow who have taken a punt with hosting the competition that we hope has paid off for them and we look forward to the high-quality calendar of shows over the next couple of months.
