There’s a temporary lull of events happening around town during this fortnight, probably in-part due to that sporty thing-a-majig on the telly at the moment, not to mention the less than encouraging weather patterns as of late. But the outlook is looking good coming up, with the likes of Fur Patrol and Black Seeds coming to town and the Mammoth Band Experiments just around the corner - so all bands, solo artists, new and established pay attention!

We’re on the lookout for acts of all walks of life - from rock to dub, electronic to hip hop, hardcore to softcore - entries are open for the band experiments starting Mid-September at Flow Bar. The event features four heats and a final over five consecutive Thursdays at Flow Bar, with a chance to win over $5000 worth of prizes, including 500 CD Pressings from Amstore, a dBTechnologies PA system, three days recording and mixing a single at Dudley Studios, a paid show during O-Week ‘09 and more to come.
