Since our pre-ignition festival interview with The Trons, the robotic rock stars have blown up, featured on television, newspapers and websites around the globe, helped in no small part by a youtube clip which at last count had generated 729,215 hits. The band seems to have captivated many peoples interest, evident in the huge turnout to see their debut stage performance at the finale of the festival, Night of the Freakin Hamiltrons.

While the band has gone from a garage project to internet sensation virtually overnight, it is a prime example of the quirky talent thriving just beneath the surface of public awareness.

As with The Trons and some of the other exciting talent that cropped up during the Ignition fringe festival, Mammoth is always here to discover and introduce to you some of the most exciting creative output that Hamilton has to offer. There are plenty more examples waiting to be found and we hope you might find some of them, this fortnight, within our handy guide.
